Her parents were deceased when she was young and raised by a grandmother. No siblings.
She inherited the thirty-some bookstores from her maternal grandmother. The headquarters of them is in a large building within the inner city but she prefers to be in a small bookstore. Thus, the daily running of the corporation is in the hand of the Vice President with her being able to deal with only the most needed business issues. Hence she daily works in the older building that began it all. That store holds a large section of rare books and tomes on mysticism.
